We are trying to make our living room a bit warmer. The white walls are so blah but cost way too much to paint. So we have done a couple changes and I need opinions. We put some sconces with candles on the stairs, new curtains, cute photo frame near the kitchen and a very colorful painting in the dining room. I like all of what we have done but am unsure about the painting above the couch. Take a look and let me know.

Color, baby! I really like some of the accents you've added, like the sconces, but you need brighter colors! Even if you take, say a few large, blank canvases and painted them in a bright primary color(s), that would help liven it up.
Just a suggestion. Don't tell Ben.
I was getting ready to say I liked it, but then I read this other comment, and I thought, what a good idea! I've seen lots of people paint their own big canvas - like circles or just two intersecting lines - really easy - and it adds a lot of color. Or I've seen fabric used similarly - just staple it over the canvas. You could get a great piece of fabric in a design you liked and it would be a Murrie Original. But if you don't feel like all that I like the tri-tree too.
